Day 21 of #Recovery: #BLANKSTARE What will we do when/if technology ends? There’s a little bit of irony in this piece, seeing how my work is being displayed via internet. However, I still question it, “What will we do when/if technology ends?”. I can almost surely say that more than 80% of the people in the world invest most of their day on technical devices. From #VideoGames, to our #CellPhones, to #Computers, to #Television, and on and on… #Technology has become somewhat of a #ghostly figure of #worship. We have become a generation that lives by it, like #Zombies. While this is all a part of #evolution, don’t forget, #God is still the reason for it all. He deserves some of that daily investment. Just write yourself a reminder to thank him everyday. I say #Alhamdulillah (All Praise and Thanks to God), some say #ThankGod, #PraiseJesus, some praise #Jehovah; what I’m saying is, whatever your faith is, just don’t let technology detour you from it. Remember, we live in a world with a system, a system that operates exactly how they want it to, and we subconsciously fall right into it, every time. Just stay aware. Peace & Love.
Day 16 of #Recovery: #JayWalk #ColorOutsideTheLines. Today’s piece sort of has a double meaning as to why I did it. I wanted to do something with shapes and that’s kind of outside of my character as an artist. I believe as an artist, there shouldn’t be any lines. So if I want to do something very in depth one day, and something extremely simple the next, it should be ok… I’m allowed to. We all are allowed to do what we want, to do what we feel. Our only restriction is our own doubt or fear. The other meaning kind of revolves around what’s going on in #America (aka #Amerikkka) today. I kind of feel less and less like abiding by the “systems” rules. I feel like #JayWalking… without the risk of being #shot, #choked, or #beat for it. I feel more and more like having my rights. My rights to be a #human, to be #equal, to be #free, to #express myself… and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. P.S. My surgery incision is healing pretty well.
